Haneda Airport Terminal 1

Haneda Airport Terminal 1, also called Big Bird, is the largest terminal in the airport and operates domestic flights within Japan. 

Terminal 1 began service in 1993. 

Transfer between terminals

There are several ways to transfer between terminals:  

From Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 there is a walkway that connects both terminals. 

Another option is to take the free shuttle bus at bus stop 8. It takes 3 minutes to Terminal 2 and 5 minutes to the Terminal 3- International from Terminal 1.

Service hours: From 05:00 am to 00:50 am, frequency every 4 minutes. 

Another option is to use Keikyu and Monorrail lines free of charge. Passengers have to show their passport and airline tickets to ride both means of transport. 

Levels

Haneda Airport Terminal 1 facilities are split into the following levels: 

B1

Access to Keikyu and Tokyo Monorail.

There are some banks, shops and other facilities. 

Level 1

This is the Arrivals level, which is splint into the North and South areas. 

Find here access to ground transportation (bus and taxis).

Services: Airport clinic, currency exchange, shops, restaurants, information counter, baggage claiming and a hotel. 

Level 2 

The Departure level as well as Arrivals is divided into the North and South wings. Find here check-in facilities, security checkpoints and access to boarding gates.

There also shops and restaurants.

There is a total of 24 boarding gates. 

Level 3 

In level 3 there is an atrium with Shops and Restaurants. 

Find also here pedestrian bridges to both Parking P1 and P2. 

Level 4 

Atrium level with more Shops and Restaurants. 

Level 5 

Atrium level with more Shops and Restaurants.

Level 6 

Passengers will find restaurants and Observation Deck, Sky Gallery. 

Level 7 

Observation Deck.

Japan Airlines Sakura Lounge (North Wing): Terminal 1, third level, North Wing. From 05:30 am to last departure. Services: Snacks, Wi-Fi, newspapers, Wi-Fi, showers. 

Power Lounge (Central): Terminal 1, third level. From 06:00 am to 08:00 pm. Services: Snacks, Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines, TV, internet terminals, telephones. 

Power Lounge (South): Terminal 1, second level, South Wing. From 06:00 am to 08:00 pm. Services: Free Wi-Fi and smoking area.
